Um . . . what’s with the weird name?

Sadie The Goat
Namesake
Yeeeeeah it’s a weird name for an animation studio. But it got your attention right?
We called ourselves this for a number of reasons, the first and foremost: Pirates are cool. Back in the 1800s, Sadie Farrell-better known as Sadie the Goat, was an Irish immigrant who commanded a group of river pirates! Her signature move was a headbutt to the gut like charging goat. Don’t worry, physical combat and thievery ain’t our style. But female leadership, a strong vision and sharing the wealth is!
Along with pirates, goats are bad-ass. They symbolize agility, curiosity, and grit. Plus, the name plays on ‘GOAT’ (Greatest Of All Time) something we strive to be.
As for “thee” well, if it’s good enough for Megan Thee Stallion (we love you Megan ❤) than it’s definitely good enough for us!
